Two Sides of the Dead Sea
Most pictures were taken within a few days - in a taxi through Jordan, the drivers name was Hamed, as well as during a bus ride from Jerusalem to Eilat via Ein Gedi along the Dead Sea.
People say they enjoy looking at the mountains on the other side, where the sun paints the horizon in tones of red again every night. They have never been there, they don’t really want to go there either. They are anxious.
The sea is still, the light is dancing around the mountains. Shadows come and go as nature dances. The Dead Sea is not aware of the two sides, it is embraced and guarded by the landscape.
The hot wind is blowing.
The wideness of the desert is soothing.
As well as the monotonous noise of the cars.
